Franks friendly cars are just as advertised. We’ve rented from Frank two years in a row, best rates, we rented for 2 weeks both times. We rented a perfectly reliable, comfortable, air-conditioned car at half the price of other rental agencies. Frank is a delight to deal with. He is a mechanic and has kept the car we rented in perfect condition. We rented a 2007 Toyota corolla in 2023. It had a scrape on one fender. It started immediately every time. It used very little gas. It was quiet, clean and comfortable. The air conditioning worked! Next time we come to Maui, we'll call Frank.

Frank was great to work with on our April 12 - 19 visit to Maui. Guessing our Toyota Camry was a 2010 - 2012 that had around 128,000 miles but worked great and significantly less expensive than using one of the Chain Rental Car Companies. Both Car pickup and drop off were very convenient!!! I would absolutely use Frank's again should I be fortunate enough to travel to Maui in the future. As a seasoned traveler this is the way to go. Use the savings on some nice dinners!!!

My car was stolen and I needed a temporary rental asap. Frank was able to accommodate immediately without any hassle. I tried Turo but their process requires uploading ID information, selfies, etc. Frank was fast, reasonably priced and great service.

We've rented from Frank's Friendly Cars for 6 or 7 years. The original reason remains the same...price! We've been coming to Maui for many years, and Frank's prices are by far the most reasonable that we've found. The cars are older, but who comes to Maui to drive around in a new car? His cars are always clean and run just fine. A very big benefit of renting from Frank is the pickup, drop-off process. Arrival and departure times from/to the mainland are often very late. Frank will leave the car in the lot across the street so pickup is very easy. It works the same for drop-off. This saves a great deal of time standing in lines, or waiting at the counter. If your times are more normal Frank will pick you up and drop you off himself. It's worked out well for us every time. We've enjoyed working with Frank, and like I said in the beginning, the price is right! We'll continue to rent from Frank every time we go to Maui.

On our first trip to Maui, we rented from another company. The first car they gave us did not seem very reliable, so we exchanged it for another one that broke down the next day. We found Frank on Google and he came and picked us up right where we were on the side of the road. The car he gave us was not new, but it performed flawlessly and it got us to the top of Haleakala and back and all the way to Hana and back without any problem. Since then, we've rented from Frank several times, and we've also referred friends and family, and every time the experience was excellent. We will keep renting from Frank for as long as we keep coming to Maui.

We have nothing but good to say about this rental company. We are frequent visitors to Maui, and we've been renting from them for maybe 10 or 11 years. The owner, Frank, runs the business and we really feel we can count on him. The cars are a little bit older but they are always reliable. Frank is a professional mechanic. And we really like having a local-looking car. We will keep renting from them for as long as we keep coming to Maui.

I would not recommend this rental service. Frank is rude and a nut case. His prices are good but his cars are on their last leg. I wish I would have paid attention to the many reviews that referenced issue with this business and then noticed his attacking responses to the reviews.
