Castle Design Co. is a boutique architecture and interior design firm based in Maui, Hawaii.

Founded by Hawaii Licensed Architect and REALTOR® Salesperson, Lesley Castle, our focus is on providing a personal experience for our clients that holistically blends architecture and interior design.

We are a full-service firm that provides all phases of design from concept design to construction administration, including construction documentation and permitting assistance. With an emphasis on hospitality, high-end residential and retail design, Castle Design Co. guides clients in the development and/or redevelopment of residential and commercial properties.

Our services include but are not limited to: concept design and development of raw land, renovation of existing buildings, residential new construction, construction documentation and permitting projects, interior design for both residential and commercial projects, site planning / massing studies, and specifying furniture, fixtures and equipment (FFE) for various project sizes.

Castle Design Co. takes a holistic approach to design. We do not separate architecture from interior design nor landscape design, rather they are fluid, interrelated concepts that together create one cohesive project.

Our team works closely with clients, crafting spaces that feel personal and reflective of those who will live or spend time there. We work on projects all over the world, with most properties in Maui, Hawaii, California and the US Virgin Islands.

Our founder
Lesley is a US Registered Architect (NCARB) and real estate agent licensed in Hawaii State. She graduated with the Master of Architecture degree from SCI-Arc in 2013.

Previously, Lesley was a Project Designer at Gensler Los Angeles and Mid-Level Project Designer at Soho House, among other design focused architectural firms. Her experience working at global architecture firms provided her with opportunities to work remotely and on-site on luxury hotel, residential, retail and mixed-use projects internationally and nationally.

Lesley has experience with both commercial and residential projects in California, US Virgin Islands, Mexico, India, Asia, Hawaii, across the US and abroad.
