Honolulu is the main city and capital of Hawaii, located in the Pacific Ocean. The most western and southern important city in the country, Honolulu serves as the county seat of the City and County of Honolulu and is located on the southeast coast of Oahu. It acts as the principal entry point for international travel to Hawaii as well as a key hub for business, finance, hospitality, and military defense in the state and in Oceania. The city is renowned for its multicultural population, which is reflected in its distinctive fusion of Asian, Western, and Pacific cultures as well as its varied cuisine and traditions.

The 2020 U.S. Census recorded the population of Honolulu at 350,964, making it the 55th largest city in the United States. In comparison, the population of the city was 337,256 as per the 2010 U.S. Census.
